Yeah, and by no means is it just women.

2019-01-28 19:21:58 UTC

I think financial abortions would fix a large amount of this nonsense.

2019-01-28 19:22:13 UTC

And older women being honest with younger women.

2019-01-28 19:22:18 UTC

A fair number are coming clean.

2019-01-28 19:22:52 UTC

Older men are generally honest with younger men -- although I know plenty of white knights who are so stupid that they thing they're the exception to how most men treat women.

2019-01-28 19:23:14 UTC

(I still treat women with kindness and respect even though I know what's going on.)

2019-01-28 19:23:30 UTC

Sadly I can't imagine financial abortion legislation would ever pass. Hell, in 2016 a bill was signed that would make women have to register for the draft, and feminists autism'd it into non-existence

2019-01-28 19:23:45 UTC

Probably not

2019-01-28 19:24:11 UTC

What gets me is the fact that human sexual behavior is so predicatble en masse, but people have all kinds of rationalizations for their behaviors.

2019-01-28 19:24:55 UTC

"I'm doing this because he wasn't attentive enough blah blah." No you're doing that because of deep seated animalistic needs that you're unwilling to confront because you have no sense of values anymore.

2019-01-28 19:29:37 UTC

For the most part yeah, infidelity is too high across the board

2019-01-28 19:30:35 UTC

I've always seen people say that humans aren't meant for pair-bonding for life but I don't want to believe that, I want to believe that people can still be happy in a monogamous relationship for 60 years or whatever

2019-01-28 19:33:53 UTC

The idea of a successful 2 person relationship went right down the drain with the values of previous society, it seems

2019-01-28 19:41:30 UTC

People who say that are the ones who believe the feminist attempts to distroy the family, which have been ongoing from the Second Wave.

2019-01-28 19:42:11 UTC

Humans dobond for life, if society is set up for it and isn't undermining it.

2019-01-28 20:49:59 UTC

Society is cyclic. With the resurgence of STDs I think the next generation will think twice.

Condoms are not nearly as effective as they are advertised to be.

2019-01-28 20:51:05 UTC

It's already being shown that Gen Z is far more conservative than millennials

2019-01-28 20:51:31 UTC

Know of several women who got chlamydia and gonorrhea with a condom. HPV and herpes are easily transmissable with a condom (although there will soon be a vaccine for HSV.) Chlamydia and gonorrhea have drug resistant forms that are spreading now.

HIV also has several drug resistant strains now. Thankfully this is the one thing condoms tend to protect against.

2019-01-28 20:54:22 UTC

It makes sense, even with a condom there's almost always going to be some contact with some kind of bodily fluid

2019-01-28 22:59:39 UTC

My parents have been married for over 50 years now, and still going strong.

2019-01-29 14:30:19 UTC

@goodmod I'm glad to hear it. :)

2019-01-30 00:04:31 UTC

@basedgringo There ought to be no abortion. We need to start holding people accountable for the offspring they make and ensuring that children are being raised with both parents.

2019-01-30 00:37:46 UTC

It seems to me the republicans that claim to agree with you are also the same ones preventing us from having equal rights.

2019-01-30 00:40:13 UTC

ERA failed to pass in VA recently because republicans supposedly blocked it over concern it would make abortions legal.

2019-01-30 01:01:39 UTC

ERA?

2019-01-30 01:02:59 UTC

I'm a republican

2019-01-30 01:03:03 UTC

Also am a Trumper

2019-01-30 01:03:07 UTC

I love trump

2019-01-30 01:11:08 UTC

Equal Rights Amendment. Makes the law blind to gender.

2019-01-30 01:13:31 UTC

Imho it is a big deal. I don't see how it would lead to abortions being legal. I do see how, if abortion is illegal, it could cause both partners to be equally responsible for the outcome.

2019-01-30 04:03:18 UTC

I just read a bit about it, it does make sense in a way. Such a thing could create weird loopholes in legislation that is already gendered

2019-01-30 04:04:33 UTC

"the ERA could be used to justify taxpayer-funded abortion because 'only women can be pregnant, (and) therefore denial of abortion funding is sex-oriented discrimination.'"

2019-01-30 04:10:38 UTC

I wonder how it would affect men-specific rights like circumcision

2019-01-30 04:11:29 UTC

If men can be circumcised at birth women can too?

2019-01-30 04:12:50 UTC

I think that one of the reasons that doctor in America got away with circumcising 9 little girls was because of pointing out gender bias in the law

2019-01-30 04:12:51 UTC

That bit about abortion funding doesn't actually say it would make abortions legal. Just that if it were it might be paid by taxpayers.

2019-01-30 04:13:11 UTC

Exactly^

2019-01-30 04:14:14 UTC

Abortion is already effectively legal in all US states, it's just a matter of availability

2019-01-30 04:14:51 UTC

I still don't think it makes sense to have taxpayers pay it. Make both parents responsible for the cost of the abortion.

2019-01-30 04:14:53 UTC

Some states make it more difficult because they can't outright outlaw it but they can make it harder to get
