Know of several women who got chlamydia and gonorrhea with a condom. HPV and herpes are easily transmissable with a condom (although there will soon be a vaccine for HSV.) Chlamydia and gonorrhea have drug resistant forms that are spreading now.

HIV also has several drug resistant strains now. Thankfully this is the one thing condoms tend to protect against.

It makes sense, even with a condom there's almost always going to be some contact with some kind of bodily fluid

Imho it is a big deal. I don't see how it would lead to abortions being legal. I do see how, if abortion is illegal, it could cause both partners to be equally responsible for the outcome.

I just read a bit about it, it does make sense in a way. Such a thing could create weird loopholes in legislation that is already gendered
