hahaha, yeah. That is true

2019-02-17 19:04:04 UTC

Not to mention the lack of fat male models

2019-02-17 19:04:14 UTC

Never heard about one tbh

2019-02-17 19:04:26 UTC

My friend likes to hateshare Tess Holliday posts on Instagram

2019-02-17 19:04:36 UTC

I will say her BF isn't really hot or buff

2019-02-17 19:05:22 UTC

Height isn't a preference for women anymore its a req

2019-02-17 19:05:27 UTC

Requirement

2019-02-17 19:05:34 UTC

but I guess that's the difference in what is actually attainable if you're fat compared with what you might fantasize about.

2019-02-17 19:05:50 UTC

Yeah for sure

2019-02-17 19:06:14 UTC

I mean at the end of the day, you cant shame people for their taste

2019-02-17 19:06:30 UTC

Just dont be rude about it

2019-02-17 19:07:20 UTC

IDK, is height really that big a thing? I mean I know it is for some women but..... it doesn't seem like all or most women are that obsessed with height. I mean, just basing this off being a gay man with female friends.

2019-02-17 19:07:45 UTC

It's not unusual for women to date men about the same height or tall women with shorter men, it seems like to me.

2019-02-17 19:08:19 UTC

I've heard some dating apps have height filters

2019-02-17 19:08:50 UTC

But as I said, I cant get mad at a girl for not dating me for my height. I will think she is shallow, but thats about it.

2019-02-17 19:09:03 UTC

Yeah, makes sense.

2019-02-17 19:11:37 UTC

I will say that no one really seems very happy with dating. Both women and men seem to be complaining about the others standards and feel frustrated.

2019-02-17 19:14:39 UTC

I believe our standards have increased in this tinder/grindr/instagram era

2019-02-17 19:15:10 UTC

Yeah, and most interactions on the apps are short term. People ghost quickly, etc.

2019-02-17 19:15:17 UTC

Yeah for sure

2019-02-17 19:16:26 UTC

There is little incentive to stay with the same person when you know you can just replace them easily with the next person in line

2019-02-17 19:16:48 UTC

Yeah, and when do you stop? The grass is always greener.

2019-02-17 19:17:01 UTC

Exactly

2019-02-17 19:17:26 UTC

We leave good to find better and sometimes stay with bad in fear of finding worse

2019-02-17 19:17:52 UTC

But thats just my 2 dollars on the subject

2019-02-17 19:17:59 UTC

Yeah, definitely true

2019-02-17 19:18:04 UTC

Thanks for joining my TED talk

2019-02-17 19:29:17 UTC

Speaking of debate, do any of you post on /r/femradebates ?

2019-02-17 19:31:14 UTC

I dont post there but I like checking it

2019-02-17 19:31:36 UTC

Same, it's kind of difficult to engage with heavily.

2019-02-17 19:33:37 UTC

Yeah, true

2019-02-17 19:49:43 UTC

You have to be approved to post there. I am approved, but I haven't actually posted anything

2019-02-17 20:20:42 UTC

I wonder what would happen if a abused boyfriend shoved a electric turkey carver into his SO's cooter?

2019-02-17 20:20:55 UTC

Would he get the same sympathy as Lorena

2019-02-17 20:21:18 UTC

Of course not.

2019-02-17 20:21:59 UTC

If feminists have such a hard time condemning Lorena, they shouldn't be surprised people view their movement as hateful toward men.

2019-02-17 20:22:34 UTC

They are a unrecognized hate group

2019-02-17 20:32:10 UTC

That is true.

2019-02-17 21:09:06 UTC

im subbed there but dont go on much

2019-02-17 21:09:19 UTC

doesnt seem to be very productive, but i havent checked in a while

2019-02-17 21:21:11 UTC

Well, the mods are feminists. They claim they have to come down hard on MRAs to "balance" things due to a perceived lack of feminist perspective. The feminist posters are generally pretty strident and not really open to conceding anything.
