i havent felt "plesure" with a intact foreskin so i wouldnt know the differences

I would never encourage you to feel shame for your body or disdain for your relatives for giving into your cultural norms, but it's good to question the practice of routinely cutting little boys for the future of such cultures. If it is harmful, as I and others contend, then it doesn't set a good precedent for the worthiness of that, or any, culture

One thing I always come back to thinking on, is if you want to make a commitment to Allah/God, your society, or anything, what better way than to do it when you are capable of making a fully conscious choice of that? A child can hardly understand the significance of such a thing

And it's worth noting that the Qur'an does not command it done, it's only mentioned in the Sunnah

2019-01-08 08:00:59 UTC

@Gok You should imagine doing that same thing you discribe to a baby

2019-01-08 08:01:32 UTC

BTW would you let me add your description to www.menarehuman.com as a part of a circumcision article?

2019-01-08 08:06:04 UTC

@InsaneCaterpilla Your comments would be a very good thing to add to the article on circumcision in the part about religious practices as it is very reasonable.

What is the best resource to point out male disposibility in a pacifist context? - https://redd.it/adkta6 Quick question to those of you in the know. If I'm having a conversation with someone who is very pacifist or anti-war, what is the best way to point out how the powers that be leverage jingoism and "manliness" to convince young men to enlist in ...

She sounds like a great person.

2019-01-08 23:29:41 UTC

So uh

2019-01-08 23:29:43 UTC

I have to admit

2019-01-08 23:30:11 UTC

Despite listening to HBR and Hannah Wallen in particular for a while, I've never actually read up on the 7 years in hell case

2019-01-08 23:30:16 UTC

...until now

2019-01-08 23:30:38 UTC

If you ever need an increase in blood temperature, give that a read. I can't believe I'm only halfway through.

2019-01-08 23:32:45 UTC

It is a criminal case related to a divorce that is far, far worse than anything I've ever read about happening in family court.

2019-01-08 23:48:59 UTC

@asparkofpyrokravte you should crosspost it to <#520987662572584961> mate

2019-01-08 23:49:29 UTC

I'll have a read when I finish some stuffs ^^;

2019-01-09 00:12:28 UTC

Divorce is a support channel

2019-01-09 00:12:32 UTC

this doesn't belong there

2019-01-09 00:14:09 UTC

It is, I just thought that it could be used to showcase how bad things can be and people would empathise with it.

2019-01-09 00:14:20 UTC

Either way, its up to you.

2019-01-09 14:33:20 UTC

There has to be so many examples of male victims. I see it in public; people HAVE to be waking up to it and noticing that something is wrong

2019-01-09 15:07:17 UTC

I once heard her and her sister discussing how the sister would send a bogus anonymous call to children and youth services stating that the dad was touching the kid inappropriately

2019-01-09 15:07:23 UTC

I don't know if they ever did it

2019-01-09 15:08:37 UTC

Wow.

2019-01-09 15:09:15 UTC

Yeah I don't know how much of it was true and how much of it was false

2019-01-09 15:09:25 UTC

But she had claimed at least to me that she had like reasons to suspect something was going on

2019-01-09 15:09:33 UTC

Something about like stuff that the kid was telling her

2019-01-09 15:10:20 UTC

For all I know the sister was convinced that some kind of abuse was happening but they definitely were talking about conspiring

2019-01-09 15:10:36 UTC

And like basically saying that they saw something that they didn't see take place or something like that

2019-01-09 15:11:29 UTC

Yeah, so we ultimately do not know but we do know that the sister and other were not always acting with the best intentions.

2019-01-09 15:19:51 UTC

I thought about contacting Cys about her many times.

2019-01-09 15:20:09 UTC

Not to get back at her but because of genuine concern for the boys

2019-01-09 15:27:58 UTC

I think I decided in the end that they already know she is crazy and anything I said would look like retaliation.

2019-01-09 15:30:53 UTC

Yeah, that’s unfortunately likely true.
