What is the best resource to point out male disposibility in a pacifist context? - https://redd.it/adkta6 Quick question to those of you in the know. If I'm having a conversation with someone who is very pacifist or anti-war, what is the best way to point out how the powers that be leverage jingoism and "manliness" to convince young men to enlist in ...
She sounds like a great person.
So uh
I have to admit
Despite listening to HBR and Hannah Wallen in particular for a while, I've never actually read up on the 7 years in hell case
...until now
If you ever need an increase in blood temperature, give that a read. I can't believe I'm only halfway through.
It is a criminal case related to a divorce that is far, far worse than anything I've ever read about happening in family court.
@asparkofpyrokravte you should crosspost it to <#520987662572584961> mate
I'll have a read when I finish some stuffs ^^;
Divorce is a support channel
this doesn't belong there
It is, I just thought that it could be used to showcase how bad things can be and people would empathise with it.
Either way, its up to you.
There has to be so many examples of male victims. I see it in public; people HAVE to be waking up to it and noticing that something is wrong
I once heard her and her sister discussing how the sister would send a bogus anonymous call to children and youth services stating that the dad was touching the kid inappropriately
I don't know if they ever did it
Yeah I don't know how much of it was true and how much of it was false
But she had claimed at least to me that she had like reasons to suspect something was going on
Something about like stuff that the kid was telling her
For all I know the sister was convinced that some kind of abuse was happening but they definitely were talking about conspiring
And like basically saying that they saw something that they didn't see take place or something like that
Yeah, so we ultimately do not know but we do know that the sister and other were not always acting with the best intentions.
I thought about contacting Cys about her many times.
Not to get back at her but because of genuine concern for the boys
I think I decided in the end that they already know she is crazy and anything I said would look like retaliation.
Yeah, that’s unfortunately likely true.
Yeah
I mean I care about kids but it wouldn't likely make a difference and I'm sure I would end up getting #metoo'd
Yep.

Hmmmm?
Oh, to put the link in
Damn. That case.....
Oh the avoiceformen piece?
Mmm... It's not really a divorce resource though...
If you want it there, ill think about a way to include it
