I've never heard about that, I didn't even exist in the 80s, but there was a time when communal showering was a part of gym class
it's true
I remember doing communal showering after rugby, it's not comfortable and you will get bullied if you didn't want to expose yourself to the rest of the women, most of which where raging lesbians.
This is very true, no one wants to be nekkid in front of their school age peers
unless... they really do...
I don’t want to be naked in front of anyone.
Raging lesbians can be pretty rough I’ve heard.
They always bust into my house and eat my carpets
It's getting to be quite annoying
@GG Allin Sounds like a band.
@Mush Though 'feminism is a religion' gets used as a metaphor a lot, I don't think it's helpful. Feminism is actually a fully secular political ideology with an anti-religious streak that surfaces from time to time. If you want a better comparison, it has a whole lot more in common with racism - and feminists act almost spookily like students did during the Maoist Cultural Revolution. If you want something to compare it to - I'd say those are the best shots. Comparing it to religion tends to backfire as a religious person will think you are implying either a) that feminism is like Christianity, and therefore a social good concerned with equality. Or b) that you just don't like religion and are trying to bundle them together. This is bad regardless of if you are talking to a feminist or an MRA. Either way, the conversation is now about religion and feminism is on the back seat looking smug because it dodged a bullet. In other words, it's best to just show them this:

Radical Feminist: Transgender Activism Is a 'Men's Rights Movement' - https://redd.it/al07wv
I'd say that some parts of trans rights are men's rights. These feminists are still crazy though.

This is an evil bitch...Vengeful woman filmed herself pouring bleach into ‘cheating’ ex-partner's tropical fish tank and then sent him the video - https://redd.it/akz7qp
those are TERFs, Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists
they are the craziests of the crazies
they believe males transitioning to females are men trying to infiltrate the female movement, and that females transitioning to males are betraying the female movement
they also believe all men should be kept emprisoned and that all an erect penis is rape
Terfs are and always have been sociopaths
@Tiggy Psychologically, feminism is ideological possession, much like a religion. Except that it throws out traditional (tried and true ideology) with a self destructive one. Feminism will die out in a few generations as it is toxic to civilization.
The birthrate for feminists is almost way below replacement levels. Non-feminists cultures are going to consume the space they leave.
@basedgringo Religion is a form of spiritual ideology, not the other way around. Everything we say and do has a level of ideology to it. There is a Men's Rights ideology too, and we are part of it..
I disagree
That said feminism is an extreme ideology, and I think it's directors knows what it's doing
Are you saying ideology is a form of religion?
Religion is much more complicated than simply being a group of people to talk
1. Modern progressivism and 4th wave feminism are indistinguishable.
2. Modern progressivism is an organic religion that fills in the space left by denying religion itself.
What we are talking about here is world views, and people who hold them
No, it is not simply a worldview
Ideology is something that can supplant religion, and I agree that feminism is doing so
But that doesn't make it a religion
Holding a worldview doesn't make you flip on out people who disagree with you.
Neither does having a religion
Patriarchy is the new name for the devil.
