I've been meaning to watch The Warriors for a while
Oh wait, I think I've seen The running man
Not recently though
It's a Schwarzenegger film, if you're thinking that then ya probably have
'Renewal, renewal!' Doesn't mean anything to you though?
It's about cable TV and game shows as a kind of Dystopia if I remember
Yea kinda
They put criminals on a game show to win their freedom
Or they're killed on air
And by game show I don't mean they have to answer questions just avoid getting killed >.<
That's the one. There's this scene where they use holograms and CGI to fake Arnold's death
If I'm thinking of the right one?
The renewal line was from logans run though. It was released around the same time as soylent green
They do do that, but it's exposed at the end when arny kills the presenter
Oh?
I have seen Logan's Run
I did like it a lot
I'm awaiting the usual bad remake, lol
my local paper published my letter on the MRM!
Wonderful
No word from washtimes yet
I hope they get back to you soon
National paper, much less likely. Tried the NYT to
Very nice! And we'll put. :)
I put :D not :)
Hrm, I need to watch part 1 of this, sounds interesting.
i thought this was gonna be bad
its actually quite good
Prim is quite known to me through the badgers, so I was pretty confident she wasn't going to engage in collective shaming
ew "...the art and science of persuading others. I hesitate to talk about it in this manner because it makes it sound manipulative" -- every marketer ever
Prim, as much as "learning how best to relate to others" makes that sound better, it doesn't change its manipulative nature. It is indeed a digression from logic and reason and into sophistry, CMV. That said, almost all of the things mentioned actually do stay as far as possible from what could be considered even moderately manipulative, which was a pleasant surprise for me.
im happy i learned about her. thank you james for sharing the video
Just the other day I was thinking I'd like to see a mens' rights discord, good to see this here
This is a very interesting video
It definitely is, but I'm a bit skeptical at the part where he says "Once women learn that we have the same emotions but no tears, they'll be compassionate"
