2019-01-25 11:08:58 UTC

I have seen Logan's Run

2019-01-25 11:09:04 UTC

I did like it a lot

2019-01-25 11:09:38 UTC

I'm awaiting the usual bad remake, lol

2019-01-25 13:56:55 UTC

my local paper published my letter on the MRM!

2019-01-25 13:58:07 UTC

Awesome! :D

2019-01-25 14:15:29 UTC

Wonderful

2019-01-25 14:25:28 UTC

No word from washtimes yet

2019-01-25 14:33:50 UTC

I hope they get back to you soon

2019-01-25 14:57:38 UTC

National paper, much less likely. Tried the NYT to

2019-01-25 16:09:32 UTC

Very nice! And we'll put. :)

Hrm, I need to watch part 1 of this, sounds interesting.

2019-01-26 00:41:05 UTC

i thought this was gonna be bad

2019-01-26 00:41:38 UTC

its actually quite good

2019-01-26 00:42:32 UTC

Prim is quite known to me through the badgers, so I was pretty confident she wasn't going to engage in collective shaming

2019-01-26 01:45:11 UTC

ew "...the art and science of persuading others. I hesitate to talk about it in this manner because it makes it sound manipulative" -- every marketer ever

2019-01-26 01:47:18 UTC

Prim, as much as "learning how best to relate to others" makes that sound better, it doesn't change its manipulative nature. It is indeed a digression from logic and reason and into sophistry, CMV. That said, almost all of the things mentioned actually do stay as far as possible from what could be considered even moderately manipulative, which was a pleasant surprise for me.

im happy i learned about her. thank you james for sharing the video

Just the other day I was thinking I'd like to see a mens' rights discord, good to see this here

2019-01-26 05:56:45 UTC

This is a very interesting video

2019-01-26 06:04:26 UTC

It definitely is, but I'm a bit skeptical at the part where he says "Once women learn that we have the same emotions but no tears, they'll be compassionate"

2019-01-26 06:06:24 UTC

Tears are viewed as a display of extreme emotion, and tears are what gets the most compassion and empathy, it seems subconsciously ingrained

2019-01-26 06:11:41 UTC

Indeed, however, Tom Golden more or less is able to explain what pop psychology misses about men pretty well in general.

2019-01-26 06:12:01 UTC

Also actual psychology

2019-01-26 06:14:30 UTC

That's true, and I like that this video takes a more biological approach to explaining this rather than the typical arguments

2019-01-26 06:17:45 UTC

Anecdotally it sounds true enough too. Sometimes a scene in a piece of media will hit me particularly hard and squeeze one or two tears out of me, but no more. Extended crying is just not something I'm physically capable of

2019-01-26 06:37:37 UTC

Sheeeiit, goodmod up in here too eh?

2019-01-26 06:39:44 UTC

I was rather tempted to post this link to the MR sub, but the 'Is it really about mens rights?' pre question I ask myself didn't work out... so I though, 'Hmm... maybe I'll drop it elsewhere, but I bet they've already seen it... '

2019-01-26 06:41:02 UTC

When you read that, think about all the times you've checked removeddit/ceddit for the deleted comments and see perfectly fine ones nuked all over that sub... like, they smokin crack and think it don't stink ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
