I can understand being lonely but it seems a bit weird to reach out to people you haven't talked to in years to satisfy your own loneliness

I mean if I haven't talked to someone in literal years I don't think it'd be fair to them to contact them with expectations

Everyone knows I’m easily manipulated and guilt tripped and the worst part is that it’s true

Like I feel so guilty

It's not your fault man, I very seriously doubt that if the situation were reversed she would be feeling guilty about turning you down

To quote an argument I've seen used far too often, "You don't owe her anything"

Her friend even saying "She's going to cry" is just an attempt to guilt you and you're letting it work

Moral of the story is you're allowed to say "no" too, and don't let yourself be tricked into believing you're not @Thedemogamer💙

So I guess here is the update, her friend hates me, and she texted me this morning but seems unstable after last night, so I have them both set to ignore. I’m not 100% confident, but I think this is the right thing

I think it’s the best option under these circumstances

I mean she ghosted me years ago when we were actually friends which is why we stopped talking so I don’t feel I owe it to her.

The fact that she ghosted you makes it a much easier choice to be honest

You are not required to help anybody. It is not your job, and neither did you agree/promise to it before. She has no right to be upset at you.

I was doing work stuff and she texted me and asked me to call her

Out of the blue?

I thought she was in trouble so I stepped outside and she got on the phone with me and was having a breakdown about something.

Then I asked to speak with her friend (who I knew because I don’t really know this girl) and she freaked out at me, I finally end up talking to her friend asking some general psych questions, telling her she should do something (providing her with crisis lines, call 911 if things escalate, ect.)

She says that she doesn’t need help just friends and she’s sick of being her friend I guess so wants me to do it.

(They were both hanging out together bra and I live like 2.5 hours away)
