probably not

2018-12-10 00:08:14 UTC

Free will doesn't exist

2018-12-10 00:08:19 UTC

Kinda interesting how god would craft laws of logic that disprove himself

2018-12-10 00:08:24 UTC

Oops

2018-12-10 00:08:39 UTC

this debate is getting spicy

2018-12-10 00:08:43 UTC

God certainly isn't necessary consideration in the equation. But neither is him lacking from it.

As for free will, that debate is up in the air. But it would seem like we don't have it.

2018-12-10 00:08:44 UTC

there's a bunch of hypocrisies in the bible

2018-12-10 00:08:57 UTC

like how god is all-knowing but doesn't know sin

2018-12-10 00:09:01 UTC

but 🤷

2018-12-10 00:09:12 UTC

bible barely makes sense

2018-12-10 00:09:23 UTC

the bible's over 2000 years old

2018-12-10 00:09:32 UTC

If you don’t have free will, then you aren’t actually making any of these arguments, your arguments are just a product of random chemical processes. So I win the debate. Thank you

2018-12-10 00:09:34 UTC

and has been translated several dozen times

2018-12-10 00:09:49 UTC

Nobody said they were random

2018-12-10 00:09:58 UTC

I dont even see how that follows

2018-12-10 00:09:59 UTC

run the communist manifesto through google translate a few times

2018-12-10 00:10:00 UTC

@FreshWholeMilk that would apply to all of us. so the correct answer is that nobody wins in the subjective sense.

2018-12-10 00:10:04 UTC

Still not your choice to make the arguments

2018-12-10 00:10:04 UTC

see if it makes any sense

2018-12-10 00:10:15 UTC

The bible is big-brainy and you should take god as an egoistic god just to make the direct dialogues viable

2018-12-10 00:10:33 UTC

bible is for big headed people

2018-12-10 00:10:36 UTC

okay, what?

2018-12-10 00:10:37 UTC

2018-12-10 00:10:45 UTC

No one chooses to believe anything

2018-12-10 00:10:45 UTC

Bible makes very little sense indeed. And, say what you say of science, but its findings make a whole lot more sense.

2018-12-10 00:10:56 UTC

i don't have faith in algebra

2018-12-10 00:11:06 UTC

His much of the bible have you read?

2018-12-10 00:11:26 UTC

i like the old testament the most

2018-12-10 00:11:33 UTC

everything else is kinda like a spinoff

2018-12-10 00:11:51 UTC

I like the part where god couldn’t beat the canaanites because they had iron chariots

2018-12-10 00:11:56 UTC

So you're a jew?

2018-12-10 00:12:03 UTC

oh shit i forgot

2018-12-10 00:12:09 UTC

the old testement is like jewish isn't it

2018-12-10 00:12:25 UTC

i'm a agonist if that makes anything better

2018-12-10 00:12:31 UTC

The whole thing is Jewish

2018-12-10 00:12:40 UTC

The Old Testament makes no sense without the New Testament. You need the New Testament to decode all the symbolism

2018-12-10 00:12:41 UTC

And by Jewish we mean ethnicity

2018-12-10 00:12:42 UTC

First off, you didn't clarify what you meant by free will. You asked, if it existed, which is going to depend on how that person defines free will.

I would say free will doesn't exist, and what I mean by that is, we are inclined and influenced to make certain decisions, and for the most part they can be resisted.

And by the way, this is something you agree with, too. Black people are more criminal than whites for genetic reasons, because they are inclined to be. @FreshWholeMilk

2018-12-10 00:13:01 UTC

Hey now, I didn’t ask for your life story

2018-12-10 00:13:02 UTC

You asked an open ended question, and then reduced the response to your personal interpretation

2018-12-10 00:13:10 UTC

that's not a good way to go about it
