now, social democrats *used* to be leftists
but they aren't anymore
haven't been for half a century
they used to want social ownership of means of production
but that was since then dropped
what people tend to call socialist countries are normally social democratic
for example, I'd consider the Strasserists to be absolutely leftists, despite being national socialists, and this is due to the economic views of Otto Strasser
Hitlerists on the other hand were not leftists, but rightists, and this is due to the economic views of Hitler
it all comes down to the productive relations - is the basis of property social, or private?
i don't like being forced to share what i've worked for
if people need, and i care
i'll give
but i'm not giving to people i don't care nor want to give to
that's not it actually
Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state. This is how property ought to be.
the idea is that people *produce* things jointly, and share in the jointly created prosperity
its not that we take from you what you've done for yourself
that's not the purpose of socialism at all
socialism is when gooberment hurt wallet

we do have a boomer ancap mod here
but he seems to be offline
> boomer ancap
oh god its like the worst of all worlds
He's not ancap
FDR was a tool of the bankers
FDR was fake and gay
Socialism is Bernie Sanders and Jesus
AnCap is funny.
or at least that's what Neil DeGrasse Tyson told me
Jesus had some pretty socialisty takes, although it would be wrong to attribute to him a future system
Jesus wasn't a socialist
I was making fun of something he said
i was almost an ancap
"Dude treat people nice and be humble"
then i realized anarchy cannot work
I don't get it, is there any socialism that doesn't think that people produce things jointly and with that serve the bigger goal?
Jesus is a Monarchist
Jesus is nazbol
looks pretty Marxian to me 😄
Christbols use this to justify their ideology
