@Bird Wizard literally northern europe in the 400s

2018-12-12 22:56:34 UTC

@Bird Wizard if it was a tribe they mostly likely had a concept of state fam

2018-12-12 22:56:38 UTC

Natives are probably not even human. Like Germans.

2018-12-12 22:56:39 UTC

@a2 big oof

2018-12-12 22:56:43 UTC

@Filthy Frank northern europe in the 1400s

2018-12-12 22:56:44 UTC

😎

2018-12-12 22:56:56 UTC

@aymem yes, tribal

2018-12-12 22:57:06 UTC

@aymem what?

2018-12-12 22:57:11 UTC

not state like we think of it, but it was probably an organised community

2018-12-12 22:57:21 UTC

@The Big Oof wanna partner?

2018-12-12 22:57:25 UTC

It was organized

2018-12-12 22:57:26 UTC

That moment you realize the democrats are the imperialists

2018-12-12 22:57:49 UTC

that's not a state, just fucking council of elders, institutions and infrastructures were lacking

2018-12-12 22:58:08 UTC

Tribal structures are just that

2018-12-12 22:58:23 UTC

there was no planned economy and all that

2018-12-12 22:58:31 UTC

and if u want to boil all statecraft to that then sure, I guess u can boil it all down to that but then call it what it is, primitive form

2018-12-12 22:58:33 UTC

@Bird Wizard most of northern europe was like that

2018-12-12 22:58:41 UTC

^

2018-12-12 22:58:45 UTC

Europe had lords and was feudal

2018-12-12 22:58:46 UTC

In the 400s

2018-12-12 22:58:54 UTC

And before

2018-12-12 22:59:03 UTC

Europe had a concept of economy ad currency also

2018-12-12 22:59:12 UTC

trade

2018-12-12 22:59:30 UTC

contact with other parts of the world via land and sea travel

2018-12-12 22:59:38 UTC

Land + people = country

2018-12-12 22:59:45 UTC

@Bird Wizard I said it was probably an organised society and they did have institutions, a council of elders is an institution, and infrastructure is dependent on the society they live in, the infrastructure the community created would've been shelter and whatever else

2018-12-12 22:59:46 UTC

City states =/= tribal

2018-12-12 22:59:50 UTC

They had that @Nikitis

2018-12-12 22:59:55 UTC

which what northern europe was

2018-12-12 23:00:17 UTC

northern europe had city states?

2018-12-12 23:00:18 UTC

I've noticed alot of fighting over terms here

2018-12-12 23:00:22 UTC

i genuinely don't know

2018-12-12 23:00:22 UTC

seems silly

2018-12-12 23:00:26 UTC

Northern europe for most of it's life has been a backwater tbh @Bird Wizard

2018-12-12 23:00:27 UTC

A country isn't a land and a people, it's a political body

2018-12-12 23:00:45 UTC

The land of the Normans

2018-12-12 23:00:51 UTC

@Gas the Zoomers we all have to reach a consensus on the terms we use in order to have a correct dialectic

2018-12-12 23:00:54 UTC

and yet now Northern Europe has advanced beyonf everyone in virtually no time at all
