@Eli Mosley
>A House panel on Tuesday approved legislation that would let a government watchdog audit the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decisions, a move bitterly opposed by the central bank.
>The House Committee on oversight and government reform passed the measure by voice vote after roughly 30 minutes of debate.
>The bill was the brainchild of Ron Paul, the former House Republican and libertarian presidential candidate and sharp critic of the U.S. monetary policy. Versions of the bill have twice passed the House by wide margins but then stalled due to lack of support from Democrats in the Senate and the Obama administration.
>Analysts said the measure has a better chance to become law now that Republicans control both houses of Congress and the White House. Paul’s son, Rand, the Republican senator from Kentucky, has introduced a similar measure in the Senate.
>Democrats in the committee were firmly against the bill. “This bill would open the floodgates to political interference in monetary-policy making,” said Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, a Democrat from the District of Columbia. Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a Democrat from New York, said the measure would lead to higher interest rates because it would undermine the market’s confidence in the independence of the central bank. Republicans said the measure was needed to rein in the Fed.
>“It is ironic that the arsonists that caused the financial collapse are now being given credit…for putting out the fire. Almost every macroeconomist concedes in retrospect that [the Fed’s] extended period of easy money led to the financial crisis,” said Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky.
I have very very little faith in that passing
It wont get through the senate
and if it does we are looking at JFK 2.0
there are democrats that want it done
because when you fuck with the fed, the fed fucks back
if all republicans jump on board
they only need 9 democrats
It would reveal our kaufers are empty and that jewish money magic is real
but GUYS
he got TRIPS
trump could actually pass this if he worked hard
this is more likely to pass than the hearing protection act funny enough
@Eli Mosley you think they would kill him?
For sure
goddamnit
best case scenario:
2. they assassinate him
best case scenario by far
the only q is do they think they can get away with the deed and survive the reaction
Reaction to trump being assassinated would be much different than JFK
literally rahowa
By doing it before right wing groups organize enough as a reaction to the coming civil war this summer
we are entering a period of soft civil war this summer
It will be like the days of rage or the wiemar republic
good thing i'm buying 9,000$ worth of guns the instant I move to texas in three months
wew
I agree 100% that we are going to be entering the beginning phases of Civil War this summer especially if it's hot
I haven't spent a single paycheck from my job yet
mummy and a few scholarships are paying for college
I should leave around 10k in debt but with 9k in da bank
and I don't get interest for two years
so I intend to spend my bank money on guns and then pay off the debt next year
pew pew
Polska stronk
There won't be any debt if this goes down
but yea if Trump goes after the fed I think he will have crossed the line. Its one thing to attack the deep state CIA aparatus and an entirely different thing to attack the central banks. Perhaps he can be successful and 4D chess them to death but it would be quite difficult
