The problem with "helping those poor unemployed people" is most of them are either non whites or terrible people who don't deserve help. Furthermore, the money it would take to "do something" about it will have to come from somewhere, most likely from hard working white people. Hope you like having 50% of your paycheck taken and redistributed to pay for welfare queens and their 8 kids.
