2018-02-19 00:51:23 UTC

u can make a crystal radio

2018-02-19 00:51:25 UTC

whats the new Q site?

2018-02-19 00:51:28 UTC

yes

2018-02-19 00:51:34 UTC

but theres something better than a crystal radio

2018-02-19 00:51:36 UTC

a rectenna

2018-02-19 00:51:47 UTC

Is this the map youre talking about? @Irshmun

The invention of the rectenna in the 1960s made long distance wireless power transmission feasible. The rectenna was invented in 1964 and patented in 1969[1] by US electrical engineer William C. Brown, who demonstrated it with a model helicopter powered by microwaves transmitted from the ground, received by an attached rectenna.[2] Since the 1970s, one of the major motivations for rectenna research has been to develop a receiving antenna for proposed solar power satellites, which would harvest energy from sunlight in space with solar cells and beam it down to Earth as microwaves to huge rectenna arrays.[3] A proposed military application is to power drone reconnaissance aircraft with microwaves beamed from the ground, allowing them to stay aloft for long periods. In recent years, interest has turned to using rectennas as power sources for small wireless microelectronic devices. The largest current use of rectennas is in RFID tags, proximity cards and contactless smart cards, which contain an integrated circuit (IC) which is powered by a small rectenna element. When the device is brought near an electronic reader unit, radio waves from the reader are received by the rectenna, powering up the IC, which transmits its data back to the reader.

Dustin saying new q post up.

2018-02-19 00:52:57 UTC

no worries - how long have you been studying?

2018-02-19 00:53:10 UTC

what if we used antennas and radio waves for energy

2018-02-19 00:53:11 UTC

At school or the map? Lol

2018-02-19 00:53:13 UTC

the ether

2018-02-19 00:53:16 UTC

Mr. white - the map?

2018-02-19 00:53:24 UTC

mmm perhaps not

2018-02-19 00:53:34 UTC

I have known about 90% about the stuff on the map since I was a kid

2018-02-19 00:53:39 UTC

2018-02-19 00:53:45 UTC

the actual map

2018-02-19 00:53:56 UTC

map is the what?

2018-02-19 00:54:17 UTC

Keystone?

2018-02-19 00:54:23 UTC
