i got 2 bros with guns, 1 is member of nra, other is not
the one that is the member of nra has the least guns
like a singular armed populace
My opinion is....there are a number of organizations that support gun rights. I'm a member of GOA (Gun Owners of America) and a couple others here in CA (because our rights are being trampled). But NRA is on front lines for a number of issues. When it comes to the "evil" black rifles the NRA hasn't always been the greatest. but they do far more good...in my opinion...
Good NIght
GOA are a lot more hard line on gun rights
Who else should I donate to? it sucks to say the 2nd amendment needs money...and members...
Night Dustin

nite nite, don't let the bed bugs bite, dustin
If you want to protect gun rights, focus on people who influence culture/politics on behalf of the 2nd amendment
Night
people like Alex Jones do far more for gun rights than organizations like the NRA which are glad to take the money/publicity but have a shoddy record at best of actually standing up for them.
I agree with all of that...changing the culture...is most important. Take new people shooting...
True Dustin..
Encourage and educate
Politics is downstream from culture
I get that
basically he's saying for those pro to self protection vs those that are pro to self enslavement to protection services
youre paying for a promise from the NRA that they have a bad record at fulfilling. Those dang money thiefs
Didn't the NRA waffle on bump stocks as well?
I still feel my decision is a good one...I'm a single guy with disposable income...so I became a life member. I just wish we would stop giving inches...
Yes NRA screwed people on bumb stocks
bump*
So after seeing that...Why would anyone wish to join a group like the NRA?
so what youre saying is that you hope the organization that you pay to be a part of will changes their politics and get a little serious, however you have really no way of influencing change?
sounds scandalous to me
What I'm saying is there are only so many gun organizations to donate to....the NRA is the biggest one and does take stand on certain issues. Not all the ones I wish. That's why I spread my money around. More importantly I preach about the 2nd amendment to friends and family (have lost some). but losing some to gain more is worth it. I have a group of buddies who i single handedly got into AR15s and we go on shooting trip every year.
I get it NRA is not perfect...
Just keep your money..
way better idea
invest in guns perhaps
@BlackDouglas , partly is because for the moral of those who are patriots, it still good to see their groups remain strong against challenges even when there are problems within. It is important that we have a strong base of pro 2nd amendment defenders
is the NRA moral if they run like a damn ponzi scheme?
L
thats why im not a member anymore
Don't need a lobby group speaking for me..
@BlackDouglas and @Deleted User if i just keep my money it does absolutely nothing other than for myself. That money to the NRA will do something, even if I don't 100% agree. It will also show that there are millions of gun owners in a single group...
just my rifle when it needs to
