C.I.A. DARPA Mind Control Program for Social Media to maniplate political "narratives"
On Jan. 29, 2013, an anonymous whistleblower revealed a secret C.I.A. DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) a C.I.A. mind control program conducted by The Center for Strategic Comminications based at the University of Arizona. The head of the project, Steve Corman, has worked extensively in the area of strategic commnication as it applies to terrorism and "extremism"—or what could be called that targeted Christianity and Islam. The secret government program sought to induce and "the war of ideas." The project was intended to disrupt religious "narratives" with desired propaganda and literally change people's minds. .
This project entered its implementation Phase III in the run up to the 2016 Presidential election. The Arizona State University project leaders are experts in social media and received $6.1 million to develop actionable strategies to disrupt "master narratives" (like one's Christian and Islamic beliefs) in the name of controlling extremism. The program focused on finding trigger words and phrases that provoked desired emotional responses by using words in lieu of magnetic resonance pulses to the brain—irrespective of the truth or proper context of the information (aka "virtue signalling"). For example, "Crusades" emotionally triggers some Moslems, as does "Jihad" with some Christians.
