I’m bummed about PP funding too, but realistic, we would need 60 Republican senators or close to get that. This has been known a couple years. That’s just how the dems in Senate roll - this is the dems sacred plank and they will go down with it.
Regarding Bolton, I could be wrong and he is CFR, but I assume a good one. And I don’t know much about him. But I look at him like a Basketball player coming onto a well oiled team. He can add to the teams performance and get the ball down the court and contribute to the team goals which may well be a complete surprise to him. If he is secretly on the other team, he will not be able to pass them the ball to them or help them in any way. He reports to the President and will be surrounded by a bunch of bad ass generals watching him like a hawk if he’s a bad apple, no so much if he’s a good apple.
