Maybe the pies are a diversion and will actually be delivered? The real goods might be delivered seperatly, from Port of Long Beach. Imagine the Plane get's raided and there is just Pizza, would make us look really stupid.

In reference to the above question: who would buy pizza and have it delivered across the US-- UH that answer would be ME!!! When I was stationed in the Air Force I had my mom bring two pizzas from my favorite Jersey Pizza shop and bring it to Montana with her... ON THE PLANE!!!
As long as the price was right. I'd certainly NOT pay a ridiculous amount for it. But I was born and raised in Jersey and you just can't get Jersey Pizza in the desert.
Question for you @Mystery Lady ! was the main purposes of your moms trip to bring you the pizza? or was it to see your mom and pizza was the added bonus?
In answer to your questions SWAT prefers you do wear soft contact lenses but glasses are acceptable. As far as active duty goes; you cannot wear contacts while going thru Basic Training. They provide you with BCG's (we always called them birth control glasses because they were so ugly looking). So glasses are completely acceptable in active duty as well. Some jobs require perfect vision so if you have glasses or contacts; you aren't qualified for that job and they will place you some where else.
