With respect the status report you refer to indicates how much power the unit is contributing to the network.

The two reactors are still hot as is the very dangerous overhead spent fuel pools located in the same containment buildings. They remain hot for years.
Reactors and Pools must have CONTINOUS POWER even when SCRAMMED (Neutron Absorbing Control Rods Inserted) to remain within a safe state. The preferred power source is from the external network if that fails the EDG's fire up within 30 secs of loss of the grid.
After Fukushima the US Nuclear Regulator issued a recommendation on what changes should be made. Some of them were very expensive. Duke Energy cherry picked the low hanging fruit (such as ensuring EDG's & rescue equipment housings were water proof) and is still arguing about the others.
The design is flawed 3 engineers who worked on the protoype resigned when they realized that the rush to production was over riding their requests for design changes.

Anyone been following the Sunspot New Mexico Solar observatory shutdown? Very secret raid last week by feds. While following that, I found YT vid from Blue Koolaid regarding the satellites detecting HUGE interference in magnetic field indicating something on the dark side of Earth causing it. Don't understand it much, not my field. Another link took me to WSO that explained it better, showing the spikes probably took out the birds. Time frame very plausible to fed raid.
So far no solid proof from what I've seen, just a lot of theory and people have been putting holes in those theories left right and centre... Very curious situation though, makes the mind very active trying to figure out whats actually going down
