: The detention
of enemies under the LOAC permits the United
States to humanely remove dangerous terrorists
from the battlefield and enhances our ability to collect
intelligence from captured terrorists. This capability,
in certain circumstances, also permits detention
of terrorists pending their transfer to the United
States for criminal prosecution. We will, therefore,
retain LOAC detention as a counterterrorism
tool, preserve our ability to detain terrorists at the
detention facilities at United States Naval Station
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and explore ways to better
integrate and maximize the utility of this capability
where lawful and appropriate.
@LowLandsPete - please cite a reference. That is awesome.

Thanks. Page 5 is interesting. It says that we have greatly diminished terrorism in the USA.
Bad time to be a terrorist
Still needing/seeking a mod or two for the forum!
uhh yeah sure
😎
POTUS just turned around and made an " Air Q"
In Q drop 2340, is Roget a typo? Roger that! Sometimes Q deliberately misspells to leave a crumb.
Leaving the R out? Could Rod Rosenstein be out?
I sure freaking hope so! @Xenios2011 been waiting on that shoe to drop for a few weeks now!
Today, Sessions supposedly dropped the McCabe Memos, the Woods Files (FISA) and some other files to the House committee. Those are all worrisome docs for [RR].
Sounds reasonable
if we can let multiple felony people back into public... i'm sure its okay if we give someone with a dui to have a chance of their constitutional right
Where are you on felony conviction, say at 18 or so, and lifelong cannot vote?
DUI? It's a victimless crime and hence shouldn't be punished, as per common law.
Common law is the law of the Land, unless you hurt someone, you are good to go.
Of course. Nothing to do with 2nd amendment right or any other rights. Caveat: Killing or injuring innocent beings as a result of your negligence is a different deal altogether
Here in the leftist Communist state of California, apparently felons can vote as long as they have fully served their sentences. The mentally ill can also vote, but they have their social workers (usually Democrats) vote for them. Same with the elderly as their social workers also vote for them if they are disabled.
I don't get felons having served their sentences being denied their right to vote.
That mentally ill deal, assigning their vote to others is way out of bounds
