every elected official has to go thru a fbi background check depending on their position in the gov that they're getting elected for
normally this background check involves questioning family, neighbors, fellow students, co-workers and anything that has influenced their lives to the point of them even attempting to run for political office
it's the same for anybody qualifying for secured positions in the military
it's basically a psych review of u based upon those around u in ur life
to determine if ur trustworthy or not
even sc positions go thru this process

Thank goodness security is much tighter now than it was two years ago for congressmen and justices. We have had less shootings than two years ago too. The swamp is being drained and the alligators are being roasted.

I've considered signing up for various inside-access subscription services for the best and brightest economist thinkers, dollar vigilante, mike maloney etc. and then forwarding those to others for $10 amonth to pay for it. I dunno if anyone out there is interested in this kind of service, I am sure someone could do it better but I am low tech and would have to manually forward each one every time
