all us military is supposed to have parts only made in usa
and have strict quality control standards
can't go to war with somebody that makes the parts for ur military machine
i learned this when i was in the military
there was a law preventing any supply chain parts to be made outside of the usa for the us military

@Xenios2011 Marinova, a former lifestyle journalist, was a television presenter for TVN, a popular channel in northeastern Bulgaria. Last month she began anchoring a program called “Detector,” which focused on political investigations.
Only one segment of the relaunched program aired before her death. It featured the work of two journalists investigating the alleged misuse of public E.U. funds by a network of corporations in the region. The journalists — Dimitar Stoyanov, from the Bulgarian website Bivol, and Attila Biro, a Romanian journalist from the Rise Project — were briefly detained by local authorities in mid-September.

every elected official has to go thru a fbi background check depending on their position in the gov that they're getting elected for
normally this background check involves questioning family, neighbors, fellow students, co-workers and anything that has influenced their lives to the point of them even attempting to run for political office
it's the same for anybody qualifying for secured positions in the military
it's basically a psych review of u based upon those around u in ur life
to determine if ur trustworthy or not
even sc positions go thru this process
