We have an exceptionally well trained/equipped professional military. Any talk of militias should be seen and interpreted as extremely suspect and dangerous to the point of interference.
I think your POTUS has everything well in hand. The thing I hear most often with regard to anyone associated closely with him is "by the book" and "rule of law" Keep looking at the 40k view instead of the day to day events.
