Personal tips:

get a camo sleeping bag if you're gonna have to be out of the house, unzip it and use it a as a cloak to hidde your gear

a large camo blanket might be better for utility stuff and they're generally bigger

don't use tents, use a tarp, more useful, you can set it up anywhere and you can run away from it easily if you're gonna get in danger, if a raider approaches your tent you're trapped

also easier to just put your stuff inside it and hide somewhere, you'd tear up a tent if you did it with it

learn to sew basic stitchesfor if any of your clothing gets damage, if oyu don't have needles you can make strong ones by hammering out the head of a nail, giving it a hole and then tempering it

quite fine heavy duty needles

also get some string to sew it up with, strong string not the one that's usually used for clothing
