There's certain scent that you only can smell from sick people or ICU. Mostly from hospital.

I don't want to describe it as smell of death, miss me with that edgy shit

But this... I can't describe it percisely, kinda close to between of feces and medicines. But not decisively shit nor medicine

When my grandfather had stroke, back when I was 11 or something. He couldn't move on his own at all. My parents took care of him. That's the first time I smelt it. And I fucking hated it

I've been accepted that the fact my mother won't be better again, she can't be. I know it, my father knows it(he told me), and even my mom knows it. There's no "getting good again" and all we can do is to do our best to make sure she won't gets worse.
