Alright lads so I did more work on my mask

I originally fucked up and thoughtmixing black spray paint with water would be an easy way to make a dark wash but ooh boy was I wrong

So I had to repaint the base and go from there

But now I come into another issue

The mask in the movie in question wasn't nearly this dark

Dry brush some white over it

Should help lighten the color

Just be careful when going around the red triangle

Alright that's what I was thinking. I'll just have to be careful

Could also maybe go over it softly with fine grit sandpaper.

they got a replica of the hockey mask from Part 4 at this one "nerd" store, but it's 40 bucks

Pretty sure I can make one just as screen accurate for less than that

Oof the base for this was like 5 bucks but I've invested probably 20 in supplies

If you're got the right supplies and know-how, you can make a pretty good mask for around 20-25 bucks

I was gonna use sheaths and have accurate stuff bit I got worried it'd spook the bars
