Their conventional FTL is skipping, I'm talking about some of the new fluff that was in the Tau book
Instead of constant exposure, which would bring attention, and get them promptly ripped to shreds
An engineer made essentially a full on warp drive and it worked pretty neatly in Tau space, but he warned against using it immediately
The survivors of the fourth sphere made a colony, and the resulting hole in reality that turned out to link the two different regions of space is stable enough to travel through
The fourth sphere survivors don't trust auxiliaries at all though, and the windows stay closed when you go through the gate
If the Head-Commie Ethereals were excited, what did the Engineer know that they didn't?
"Hey, I'm not sure its a great idea to go full ham with this still barely tested thing."
"Fuck it, we're the Tau Empire, we'll do good."
*an entire fleet disappearing later*
"Why is there a hole in reality here?"
commies will be commies
*ThE gReAtEr GoOd*
Tau aren't Commies, they're high tech India
>High Tech
>India
Even in the 41st millennium, this will not be the case
No, the Tau are most certainly space commies
The greater puss
But its a caste based society with strict divides and your caste determines your purpose and role
The forehead pussi
It gets the guardsmen every time
Implying the commies didn't have strict roles that kept the peasants peasants, the militants militants, and the farmers farmers
As well as the leaders the leaders
Hypothetically you could get out of castes and get somewhere else though. Commies try to pretend everyone is equal, whilst hindu caste society is 'you are a slave to your caste, and the priests are the highest caste'
Commies only pretend everyone is equal in propaganda, which the Tau aren't afraid of with them recruiting all species (and making other species infertile so they can't reproduce and ruin the pure Tau race of space commies) and controlling them with the "Greater Good" and everything is just and equal and everyone gets the same greatness no matter the tribe they're from.
We're in hobbies
Yeah but, general is 40k now too yeet
a warlord titan leaps over a canyon
I am entirely unsurprised that they'd be capable of such a thing.
everyone but the princeps was like
yo you shouldn't do that
and he basically went fuck you watch me
@quant *THE ACTION FIGURES OF THE OMNISSIAH ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU COULD BELIEVE*
the priests of mars series is pretty cool tbh
Yeee
I just can't *not* meme about the Omnissiah and his *little* toy destructo-bots
The princeps looks over at the moderatii, neural jacks jangling against his cranium
"what are you gonna do, stop me?"
*successfully jumps Warhound*
A booming "EEEEEEAAAAAT MYYYYYYYY DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK" rings from the cockpit as it lands
God the weirdest thing about Titans and Knights and shit is like, in some lore they have to be piloted and crewed and in some lore they can operate on their own and do whatever the fuck they feel like.
It's the same with Knights
Well the common theme is age and wear
Older, more "well-used" Knights and Titans tend to be far more... independant.
For the former, they collect enough neural echoes to make their own personality, and the latter go from formless primordial AI rage to a coalesced fully aware AI rage
