@JDB @shadowlessnexus I wish I followed that rule. I have an apartment but I have sitting down to watch TV when I could just watch something on my computer and read or chat on the side or even play games 😄
I spend all my time in my room so I probably have cancer.
my plan for once i leave my job is to follow the following routine:
10:00 - 5:15 : sleep
5:20 - 7:20 : morning ritual (4 pomodoros of personal development)
*walk to library*
9:00 - 5:00 : work on main goal
* walk back to room *
6:00 - 10:00 : relax
it's impossible for me to burn out on this
so by the time i'm 25 - i'll be senpai
once i have my surgery
i will spend 5:20 - 7:20 : working out
but till then, i'll just work on a personal goal
i'll spend those 4 pomodoros on maths
work week will be monday - saturday
sunday i just lounge in room all day
complete recharge
Heh, I get invited to a server that lists "gay" in the same category as "vore" under "disgusting". Hilarity. Also hello.
Did I miss how roles work? Usually servers have a role bot.
I didn't see it in the rules channel.
@JDB Always be honest with yourself and to this plan add a logging and review phase.
Mon-Sat have a checklist like a grid of things you are supposed to do everyday. Mark them off as they are done.
Sunday review and if goals are not being met ask why.
It is far too easy to accidentally not do what you intend and slip off the track you set for yourself.
Can you honestly hold this schedule indefinitely?
How do you adjust for the unforseen/unusual?
If friends invite you out and it goes past 10 PM will you sleep less or move your schedule further?
If you don't sleep well do you fix your sleep that day and throw off the schedule or do you remain less productive that day?
This is a great exercise to do during your review phases on sunday btw.
My point to all this is that you need to push yourself, but you need to be realistic about how you do it. I suspect 8 straight hours of studying even with 15 minute breaks every hour will become unproductive after hour 4 or 5. If you can do it, great!
If you can't, adjust your plan.
If you don't practice introspection and review your work you will likely fail.
he is saying in a long ass way have a plan but adapt as you go along
damn writers guild members
yeah - currently i log every day
i ask myself 3 questions
what went well today?
what cani learn from today?
what are my 3 goals for tomorrow?
and for my studying - i work in 25 minute blocks
