Who or what did you think was most responsible for the break-up of the Soviet Union before my video?

A series of bad decisions by the Soviet Union through out its history, nationalist movements in their western territories, and lack of resources to keep itself afloat

All those were factors, but Gorbachev was the man who exploded the powder keg.

He thought he could turn the Soviet Union into a Scandinavia-style democratic socialist state, and then the whole thing came crashing down.
