Thing is, while i wouldnt care to much if my heart or my lung failed - we allready have machines to replace those - its my brain thats getting damaged due to my multiple sclerosis. Probably wont be in the best condition once it can be scanned and uploaded

We can allready simulate at least portions of a brain, we did in fact do that. Took years to simulate a second, but that doesnt matter to the scan existing.
