I don't mind my teaching job. But I am considering phasing out my profession in the future
No. I work in STEM. Technology is being pushed to get more women. However, I only see women as project managers, product managers or designers / front end. I donโt see many actual engineers being women.
Mechanical engineering - no women. Computer engineering - few women. Trades - few women.
From my limited experience. *
so basically the managers and positions of power ๐ฆ
Ive considered coding and cyber security
Well, more like schedulers.
Iโm in information security. All project management is female. All compliance is women.
Anything to do with telling other people what to do but not knowing anything - is a female.
๐ฆ
some future us men have
All the males are in technical roles. Like itโs actually funny when you walk in. The entire left side are the engineers. The entire right side are the project managers, compliance and managers.
This guy got posting privileges up in here

Honestly, I donโt care about the future anymore. I just want to stash the cash and plan on bouncing. I will build my own SaaS products and never hire anyone so Iโll be fine to make a living and do what I want.
hmmm
what about drafting
is that a decent paying and viable career? I miss building stuff
Drafting as in mechanical?
I think thatโs largely male still but a lot of females since it is more design orientated.
mechanical or technical
Oh yeah product design is usually male/female but tooling drafting is all men.
hmmmmm
and its way cheaper than a degree
Women want the recognition of working on the product itself.
Possibly! I am not sure.
nothing is new under the sun
women wanting credit
Yeah, I just give it to them. What do I care. My boss see my commits and work done. I have nothing to prove.
Yeah dark prophit is a sperg
Confirmed

good stance to take
definitely practical in the long term
Locus of control is limited. My fucks to give are limited. My power is within.
I like that mantra
Do you guys think I should move to CA to chase $150-250k engineering gigs or simply work for a big company in a cheaper area with less political mess?
150 to 250k ๐ฎ
fuck that's a lot of money
