2018-10-23 22:12:29 UTC

Katyusha

2018-10-23 22:12:42 UTC

Good choice, not sure myself.

2018-10-23 22:12:53 UTC

for me it's Monika

2018-10-23 22:13:45 UTC

I wonder what we can expect from the VR front, though anything decent is likely to come from Japan the way things are going.

2018-10-23 22:14:20 UTC

i dont much care for vr myself. but there has been some impressive stuff coming out from the vr scene

2018-10-23 22:14:28 UTC

I agree

2018-10-23 22:14:42 UTC

@machtyn trying to sleep my way back on schedule. Been out of wack since the stream. I’m on EST so it doesn’t end for me til like 6am.

2018-10-23 22:14:49 UTC

But I love the streams

2018-10-23 22:16:54 UTC

Streams make me miss my lost mugen folder, some good characters I can't find anymore

2018-10-23 22:17:56 UTC

@MufflePuff Whenever I am out of sleep schedule I actually take the hit for the first day. I just stay up super late and then wake up early and "cold turkey" back into the schedule. Like I wake up at 0600 and go to bed at 2200 every night. If I go to bed later (a lot), I still wake up at 0600 and try to go to bed at 2200, not earlier.

2018-10-23 22:18:12 UTC

@MufflePuff I do take 10-20 min power naps though. Feet elevated above heart and nap.

2018-10-23 22:18:49 UTC

Yeaaaahh! I tried that the other day and it sort of worked. Thanks for reminding me. May be the only way.

2018-10-23 22:19:34 UTC

Power naps are the truth, have you heard of people who ONLY do power naps every couple hours? @machtyn

2018-10-23 22:19:39 UTC

No full sleep

2018-10-23 22:19:50 UTC

Naw fuck that.

2018-10-23 22:19:59 UTC

Crazy hard to start, and don't dare miss a scheduled nap

2018-10-23 22:20:08 UTC

Apparently it’s.... more efficient I think they say.

2018-10-23 22:20:14 UTC

I've heard of "sleep 3-4.5 hours" then work then sleep "3 hours"

2018-10-23 22:20:23 UTC

If you can pull it off, great

2018-10-23 22:20:31 UTC

As long as you sleep in 90 min rem states for DEEP SLEEP - that's good

2018-10-23 22:20:37 UTC

@Roundabout Lout I love naps but I prefer to sleep only in full sessions.

2018-10-23 22:20:55 UTC

i cant even nap. doesnt work. i just get the one nights sleep in per day

2018-10-23 22:21:05 UTC

Well I forget the theory name but it's like humans used to sleep only 3-4.5 hours then the rest after gathering

2018-10-23 22:21:15 UTC

I can only nap if I feel exhausted or have just woke up.

2018-10-23 22:21:17 UTC

I replaced my naps with meditation once I realized I was liable to fall asleep for an hour or two

2018-10-23 22:21:25 UTC
2018-10-23 22:21:27 UTC

Yeah, that's my issue too.

2018-10-23 22:21:48 UTC

Anyone here gotten a vasectomy?

2018-10-23 22:21:49 UTC

Waking up after a full sleep, hitting the gym and then napping for an hour or two is fantastic

2018-10-23 22:22:07 UTC

@Roundabout Lout awesome 🤔 may try that

2018-10-23 22:22:38 UTC

@machtyn nah, routinely considered though. Decided it wasn’t necessary for me.

2018-10-23 22:22:39 UTC

Though I would say I have a decent sleeping pattern of about six to five and a half hours on weekday nights. Then catching up on lost hours at Weekends.

2018-10-23 22:23:04 UTC

I recommend it. Tried to meditate at 21, failed to, tried again this year. It clicked and now I feel like a new person

2018-10-23 22:23:47 UTC

@Roundabout Lout Yeah man! Same. Started meditating a couple months ago first thing in the morning before the gym, it’s next level.

2018-10-23 22:25:13 UTC

@TheDivinePotato I’ve been forcing myself to get 6-8 every night. Sleep is more important than I’ve been treating it.

2018-10-23 22:25:38 UTC

sleep is the pillar of stability

2018-10-23 22:26:09 UTC

Concurred, master sensei @shadowlessnexus

2018-10-23 22:26:11 UTC

I've been slowly watching Rogan interview that neuroscientist about sleep. Good info

2018-10-23 22:26:59 UTC

Aye, still trying to find some of that stability, I'll get a decent sleep as I progress to it.
