@machtyn trying to sleep my way back on schedule. Been out of wack since the stream. I’m on EST so it doesn’t end for me til like 6am.
But I love the streams
Streams make me miss my lost mugen folder, some good characters I can't find anymore
@MufflePuff Whenever I am out of sleep schedule I actually take the hit for the first day. I just stay up super late and then wake up early and "cold turkey" back into the schedule. Like I wake up at 0600 and go to bed at 2200 every night. If I go to bed later (a lot), I still wake up at 0600 and try to go to bed at 2200, not earlier.
@MufflePuff I do take 10-20 min power naps though. Feet elevated above heart and nap.
Yeaaaahh! I tried that the other day and it sort of worked. Thanks for reminding me. May be the only way.
Power naps are the truth, have you heard of people who ONLY do power naps every couple hours? @machtyn

I've heard of "sleep 3-4.5 hours" then work then sleep "3 hours"

@Roundabout Lout I love naps but I prefer to sleep only in full sessions.
i cant even nap. doesnt work. i just get the one nights sleep in per day
Well I forget the theory name but it's like humans used to sleep only 3-4.5 hours then the rest after gathering
I can only nap if I feel exhausted or have just woke up.
I replaced my naps with meditation once I realized I was liable to fall asleep for an hour or two

Waking up after a full sleep, hitting the gym and then napping for an hour or two is fantastic

@machtyn nah, routinely considered though. Decided it wasn’t necessary for me.
Though I would say I have a decent sleeping pattern of about six to five and a half hours on weekday nights. Then catching up on lost hours at Weekends.
I recommend it. Tried to meditate at 21, failed to, tried again this year. It clicked and now I feel like a new person
@Roundabout Lout Yeah man! Same. Started meditating a couple months ago first thing in the morning before the gym, it’s next level.
@TheDivinePotato I’ve been forcing myself to get 6-8 every night. Sleep is more important than I’ve been treating it.

Aye, still trying to find some of that stability, I'll get a decent sleep as I progress to it.
Best sleep aid for me is a flesh sesh and then a podcast in the background. Adding 1g of glycine starting Thursday.
Yeah, something about trying to focus on a conversation with eyes shut is magic
I've not tried sleeping with headphones on, would you recommend getting something to listen to as a sleeping aid?
@TheDivinePotato I just use the speaker on my phone at 50%. Headphones would kill the vibe for me.
I like the feeling on eavesdropping the convo nearby.
Ah I see, right now I can't use speakers since I don't live alone, still in early college.
