Why is the tech industry in the US so liberal? I personally think 3 major factors:

1) The location is the west coast so already quite liberal heritage with abundance.
2) Technology evolves quickly and is kind of age-ist so hiring fresh college grads who were just indoctrinated for 4+ years.
3) Google and other colleges like hiring PhD/MS even when not necessary and the longer people are in universities the more liberal they tend to be.

Outside of academia itself, the tech field seems so unique so it always was curious to me.

Hi. brothers. I had to do a google search to understand what that meant. Being 38 most memes go over my head. Great to see a brotherhood of monks & hermits. I've been a hermit for 7 years (run online store from home) and monk mode for 16 years. Hopefully I can add some contributions to younger men, as I've been there done that when it comes to blue pilled friends and thots.

I honestly feel like I would be SUPER bored if I dropped politics altogether but do you guys have a top 5-10 channels you suggest for news?

I honestly just go on discord for gaming/chill and youtube/vimeo for everything else. I don't consume much else outside development projects (gitlab/github/stackexchange/etc).

I print and sell video game posters on website, amazon etc. 2 hours work a day 7 days a week.. No education. Independence is a beautiful thing.

I'm having a discussion about it with a city dweller... he's saying the experiment is too limited and cities are necessary for innovation. my counter-argument is that cities aren't actually well designed for sustainability and that alienation is so strong, that it's difficult to form real social bonds

The logistics of cities allow for more expansion but honestly... that's where it ends. It's more "efficient" than rural areas in many ways but fuck that. I like my space.
