no, it's me acknowledging there is a point there.
its sad
Ah, yeah. I've met a number of wilfully ignorant people, they lead blissful lives for sure
Such as they are
Can it be bliss if you know it's all screwn?
I think after a while they forget about what they know or it gets pushed so far back in their minds they might as well have never been made aware in the first place. You could in a fashion, consider such a mindset a defense mechanism.
To put it another way - they discover an uncomfortable truth, decide they cant handle it because they lack the physical, mental or emotional fortitude (or any combination thereof) to accept it and choose to forget or ignore it all costs so they can continue as they were.
Example: being redpilled, getting off the plantation and then meeting a NAWALT who leads you back.
Some people just lock bad memories at the back of their mind and only focus on 'now'.
Sure. It's a perfectly normal coping mechanism
But eventually, it's going to resurface
That is always possible.
It's all unconscious I think, or else it wouldn't be a defense mechanism. That's why mgtow tend to have suffered gynocentric pain, makes us more open to the truth
@nate112332 yes it does
@Roundabout Lout truth
What was your question about social media Null?
I was curious about that
Since you don't use it do you feel alienated from coworkers because of it?
I don't work anymore
Neetbux?
and honestly the people around here some women are big into facebook but it's not as pervasive or meaningful, it's still pretty backwards
I'm paid off property and live lean, investment income does it for me.
I think I only paid $10k for all my living expenses last year and that wasn't even trying to save big
Noice
Cutting facebook was the best pre red pill decision I ever made, that shit is cancerous. Changes relationship dynamics, and ruins the brains appreciation of delayed gratification. I think it's the single biggest factor in why my old group of friends became emotional thinkers
Luckily, for me the only reason I got FB was for the games. Haven't touched FB since
@symbioticentity You've got fuck you money, living the dream brother
Man I was balls deep in some of the FB games back in the day
Back. Anyone down for a voice chat?\
haha all I use my facebook account for anymore is auto website login, I can't remember the last time I looked at it
Is Hermit streaming?
Getting ready I think.
whatcha doin @Happy Humble Hermit
@Roundabout Lout I wouldn't call it f you money, my place cost $150k and my investments get me about the same income I had when I was working, because I manage them myself. I'm not sitting on a fortune here, I left the workplace because I was starting to get really angry and blow up a lot over dumb things.
It's comfortable.
@symbioticentity At least you don't have to answer to the workplace, that's a huge step up
@everyone streaming https://www.youtube.com/c/HappyHumbleHermit/live
right, and for now it's peaceful and low key. once I get my head on straight I'll re-evaluate and might get back in the game, but for now I'm out in the woods with little cares and a sustainable situation. and like Roundabout just said the workplace is such a feminist craphole these days it's worth avoiding when it makes sense $$$$ wise
Does anyone go to the gym or club and notice that women seem to place themselves around you, and then when you talk to them they look at you like you tried to steal their purse?
