i could hear you at first, haven'tseen it light up for awhile, i know you said you were having problems hearing us
... better audio quality @Null
so we went to fallout - new computer - saving for SHTF
And freaked out about AIs
...for some silly reasons
🤷
Fearmongering is all it is.
From those uneducated about the material they are discussing
That, or they haven't thought about the topic critically...at all.
Or perhaps they have, but prefer the wool over their eyes?
Willful Ignorance?
Disgusting.
Yeah. It's Heresy.
You are right though, my personal feelings aside, willful ignorance is a possibility. Some find the truth, realize they cant or are unwilling to accept it and choose to continue to be sheep.
*sigh*
What?
no, it's me acknowledging there is a point there.
its sad
Ah, yeah. I've met a number of wilfully ignorant people, they lead blissful lives for sure
Can it be bliss if you know it's all screwn?
I think after a while they forget about what they know or it gets pushed so far back in their minds they might as well have never been made aware in the first place. You could in a fashion, consider such a mindset a defense mechanism.
To put it another way - they discover an uncomfortable truth, decide they cant handle it because they lack the physical, mental or emotional fortitude (or any combination thereof) to accept it and choose to forget or ignore it all costs so they can continue as they were.
Example: being redpilled, getting off the plantation and then meeting a NAWALT who leads you back.
Some people just lock bad memories at the back of their mind and only focus on 'now'.
Sure. It's a perfectly normal coping mechanism
But eventually, it's going to resurface
That is always possible.
It's all unconscious I think, or else it wouldn't be a defense mechanism. That's why mgtow tend to have suffered gynocentric pain, makes us more open to the truth
@nate112332 yes it does
@Roundabout Lout truth
What was your question about social media Null?
I was curious about that
Since you don't use it do you feel alienated from coworkers because of it?
I don't work anymore
Neetbux?
Or retirement
and honestly the people around here some women are big into facebook but it's not as pervasive or meaningful, it's still pretty backwards
I'm paid off property and live lean, investment income does it for me.
I think I only paid $10k for all my living expenses last year and that wasn't even trying to save big
