@legendpinnen agreed. I'm an overthinker, but yeah. I think a large amount of people prefer people watching too; maybe just to gather perspectives without contributing.
@hel Hmmm. I can't think of anything you can use a yoga mat and dumbells for when building chest; other than a flat dumbbell press (as if you were on a bench). This would limit your range of motion because the your elbows would hit the floor, but it's a great exercise for starters.
or standing the dumbbells up and resting your toes on top of them to add a decline element to the pushups. This could add weight resistance, which would increase the intensity of the exercise for better results.
If you were going to do the flat dumbbell press on the mat, you could superset a standard wide press with a close press by bringing the dumbbells together. This would work your inner chest too and activate the triceps as well.
