for me too
push the limits is really a godo thing to heal your pain
absolutely
you will be proud of, in good shape with a good diet
and your brain will work more efficiency
The brain benefits is one of the main reasons for me working out
I could probably get a workout in tonight
I want to train now
lol
actually
I know What I'm doing
Gonna go to martial arts tonight and spar after class
you said goign after class ? after martial class ?
Yea because it's NO-Gi November and we're doing BJJ
and after class I can do kickboxing
sparring
ok ok
that good just dont forget to listen your body
in order to self actualise you must have a stable emotional foundation. and one of those sub-foundations is your self-esteem and one of the best ways to build up your self-esteem is to take pride in something you do and an example of that is working out. so keep it up @Sigma
and go slowly you were injured
at the gym dont give a fuck of the weigth you take, take your time
I was injured 2 years ago, I'm just out of shape now
ok ok nice !
i tore my labrum 2 years ago and i can only perform the pause bench, military press and pullups for my upper body
I'm struggling with commitment and discipline
been able to build up with these exercises so all is good
Nice
Nice too Jdb never give up
I ended up hurting my shoulder from doing pullups
what i would say is, unless you are willing to take the risk, avoid sports such as football or rugby - if you get injured bad enough it can be devastating
MMA breaks you down too
But it's so fun
@Sigma yeah, i only do neutral grip pullups - normal wide grip pullups are actually quite dangerous on my shoulders.
Chin ups are good too, especially for extra bicep work
Wide grip pull ups put your shoulder in an unnatural position for that joint
yeah, they're amazing. honestly you can build an amazing physique with just: chinups, bench, military press, rows, squats and deadlift
Same thing with barbell shoulder presses
