sup guys, red pill noob here
How do you guys deal with women in the workplace when there's no way to avoid them?
ouch
As a man at work you have to be indispensable in some way, meaning being the best at your job so that they can't replace you
so, you're in a good spot it seems like
omfg
so many women in leadership positions and I don't know how to interact with them properly
It's a social game I don't want to play, but I have to play to to some extent if I want to keep working
I hate playing social games, you can't be yourself...You have to throw away your individuality and personality in order to conform to an institution you are forced to be a part of if you don't want to die on the streets
ook
thank you, I'm excited to be here
I love the HHH roundtables btw
What do you mean? stay out of the drama and gossip?
If they take estrogen, maybe they'll age faster...that would be my guess. Plus, long hair, fake tits, square jaw, big adam's apple won't look good after a while
I don't know what effects estrogen has on the male physiology, I'm sure it screws some stuff up and it must be a miserable transition.
I haven't looked into it, I can only guess
The fact that there seems to be a growing number on transitions between genders is somewhat new, so I guess time will tell and we'll see what happens in the future
Should we take this to general chat?
Doesn't the DSM classify transgenderism as a mental illness?
There's no shame in mental illness, it's not really in the realm of someone's control if they have one
But what I'm seeing is that they keep adding more and more things to the DSM
and EVERYBODY has some mental shit going on
nowadays at least. It's like as the generations progress, there seems to be an increase in mental illness
I thought about this yesterday, any major problem can be examined more easily by following the money and the funding
A lot of people aren't mentally ill
but there is an increase in things like loneliness, depression, BD, OCD, Anxiety, among other things...and I'm wondering why that is. I think it might be because of technology and the internet and people are socializing face to face as much anymore
aren't socializing*
Honestly, social media destroyed me
Now i'm beginning to appreciate my solitude much more
Discord is my outlet for real conversations with people who are like minded
I can't stand small talk, I'd rather be silent
I'm in the same boat except I'm living in my hometown
most of me friends just forgot about me
So I work, eat sleep, and workout every now and then, and I'm okay with that
Never had a GF in my entire life
You know how social fads come and go? Do you guys think that the state in which society is in is just a phase we're in and that people will catch on, wake up, and things will get better?
The Purge
At home on youtube
I just saw the first and second one between today and yesterday
Very interesting topics, I enjoyed those videos
I'm new to the HHH channel, was he in one of the videos or something?
In Roundtable #2 one of the guys talking in there took way to long to get his points across, that's the only problem I had with that video. He brought up good topics, he just lost focus and went on too many tangents and irrelevant backstory details
What are some of the most harsh truths you guys had to face?
It was basically him talking the entire time
The other guys had a lot of patience for him, but it got to a point where enough was enough
One of my harshest truths is that if you're kind to everyone people see you as weak and treat you as such and don't take you seriously. People tend to treat you based on how they perceive you, plus you have to choose your battles wisely.
Sup everyone?
Any good books you guys recommend? Right now I'm reading Body Language by Navarro and I'm waiting for Robert Greene's new book called Human Nature
The Laws of Human Nature
I'm excited for it
I actually have that book
I used to do Martial arts, So I ordered the Book of Five Rings and there was another book called Warrior Mind
I recently finished Mastery, I loved that book
The 50th Law was excellent too
When I started reading The Book of Five Rings, I found it hard to digest at the time. The Writing was really concise and dense
I'll look into that one
Minimalism sounds cool
I'm thinking about getting a small house when I get enough money and a job to be able to fully support myself
I don't know about renting out a studio apartment, it would be hard to save money that way. Rent is expensive
I got the Tao Te Ching as well, haven't finished it
I just ordered an annotated copy of Five Rings
it had 1000 reviews, 4.5+ stars
only $.99
When you listen to all these successful people talk about wealth and how to make money, there are always the same underlying themes
patience, hard work, mindset, etc
they all basically say the same thing...I've listened to Tony Robins, Gary V, and a few others
They make it seem easy, but it really isn't if you don't have any big ideas to act on or skills that bring value to the work
oh yea
Think and Grow Rich is on my to read list
If you guys like reading, there's a channel on youtube called Joseph Rodriguez....I'd recommend checking him out
He goes over so many different personal development books, including multiple Napoleon Hill books
He's an entrepreneur. He also has the 48 Laws on his channel as well as the 33 strategies of war
Has anyone thought of writing a book before?
both for enjoyment and possibly making some passive income?
How long have you known about the Red Pill for?
I started around that time
once I read the Red Pill, I was hooked
That's cool, I like the Chinese philosophy.
I was searching for personal development stuff on reddit
came across it by accident
once I got into the subreddit...I had absolutely no idea what it was
So I made the effort to understand what it was
they kept saying that nobody really knows what the red pill is really about at the time I was on the subreddit, so I kept trying to figure it out
between that and my personal life, a lot of the stuff they kept saying seemed to ring true in real life. I don't know if it's because I was experiencing the Dunning Krueger effect/Cognitive bias from spending so much time on the Red Pill though
When you take in so much info from the same sources, it changes the way you see the world and how you think. What happens is that you learn new info and look for ways to confirm it through experience
There's no such thing as 100% pure truth. You only have what personally gives you the best results and you roll with that
Red Pill, MGTOW, Blue Pill, Black Pill, Purple Pill...they all have at least some level of truth to them, but none of them are 100% true. This is probably because they have been based on personal experiences. Everybody is different, therefore different experiences and ways to navigate the world
Exactly
True Pure information is all metaphysical
And we don't have the means to access that type of information. We're 3D beings in a multidimensional universe. 3D beings can't perceive anything higher than 3 dimensions.
Physicists say that there are 10 dimensions, but there could be many many more
I used to be interested in the spiritual, metaphysical stuff too. even the occult stuff
I've had strange experiences as well
doing binaural beats+meditation
fucking weird. it was almost like I took hallucinogens
I invested a lot of time and energy trying to open my third eye
Very wacky woo woo stuff
Got to be careful though, they lead to dark places like conspiracy theories
alright cool
