@Basedlieu You don't have female psychology though. You are a guy. You got to realize your GF will not think like you. Today, the tradeoff for a woman compared to a man there is nowhere near the same as HHH has already pointed out.
But back in the long long ago it was still not the same for men vs women. A woman who fought back could have died when she would have otherwise lived and passed on her genes. A man doesn't benefit or pass on his genes nearly as much for the same situation. (If he was in that situation he likely wasnt passing on his genes anyway.)
