well, whatever, as far as i can see the irc is completely setup, i can use it perfectly 100% fine on the local machine, its just that for some god damn reason it refuses connections from any other machine, i have my router port forwarded on 6667 and 22 to the host machine, but i still get my connection refused, ive went through the conf files of the IRC and i for the life of me cannot see why it would be refusing any connections. and there is near zero documentation on the web about it, so idk if im just dumb and i have to do something extra to open the IRC to be accessable from other machines, but im getting tired of messing with this for now

ive followed guides to the letter, especially on the sections where they say "oh do this so that the irc will bind to any open router" blah blah blah
based on what im reading, my IRC SHOULD be setup and able to connect from other machines
but its NOT and thats what confuses me
i was at it for 9 hrs yesterday, and 5 hrs today
