That alone shows that there is strain

2019-12-19 06:02:57 UTC

And not as much cooperation as you might think

2019-12-19 06:03:12 UTC

Solid point. Always figured govt's were incompatible, never consider the armaments perspective.

2019-12-19 06:03:33 UTC

if russia didnt have nukes they wouldn't register as any more than a minor adversary

2019-12-19 06:03:41 UTC

well

2019-12-19 06:03:42 UTC

@Cobra Commander pretty much

2019-12-19 06:03:48 UTC

Generals openly admitted that we wasted billions trying to mold Afganistan into what we wanted it to be without any real direction on doing so

2019-12-19 06:03:57 UTC

maybe thats *a little* unfair but yeah

2019-12-19 06:04:10 UTC

@Mersenne I agree troops should be taken out of Syria

2019-12-19 06:04:28 UTC

I do as well

2019-12-19 06:04:38 UTC

But not because of your reasons

2019-12-19 06:05:02 UTC

We should stay in Afghanistan though

2019-12-19 06:05:10 UTC

It is getting better there

2019-12-19 06:05:16 UTC

This is why I applaud the president on scaling back the military aide blindly afforded to other countries. Many nations, particularly those in the EU, frequently receive millions in military surplus spending, yet fail to provide the occupational security necessary in 3rd world areas such as the middle east.

2019-12-19 06:05:33 UTC

Also fuck the un

2019-12-19 06:05:40 UTC

Just needed to say that

2019-12-19 06:05:50 UTC

didnt do shit in bush wars

2019-12-19 06:06:01 UTC

Bush wars as in african wars

2019-12-19 06:06:12 UTC

I lost respect for the UN when then announced Saudi Arabia as a leader in the women's rights movement.

2019-12-19 06:06:25 UTC

I hated the un way before that

2019-12-19 06:06:44 UTC

wait they

2019-12-19 06:06:47 UTC

Yup

2019-12-19 06:06:59 UTC

actually said *saudi arabia*

2019-12-19 06:07:01 UTC

Un couldnt do shit

2019-12-19 06:07:19 UTC

Ever since then i hated them

2019-12-19 06:07:22 UTC

They afforded women the right to drive - ergo leaders in the women's rights movement.

2019-12-19 06:07:38 UTC

also bosnian wars

2019-12-19 06:07:40 UTC

Ignoring current laws that allow women to be stoned to death for *perceived infidelity*

2019-12-19 06:07:42 UTC

Since 2001 at least 980 billion has been spent on attempting to reform Afghanistan. Thousands of US soldiers have died for a regime change war that barely accomplished anything over 18 years. I would argue its created more terrorism and hate for the US mire tgan anything else

2019-12-19 06:07:47 UTC

huge fuck up of the UN

2019-12-19 06:07:54 UTC

> @Troye > thousands

2019-12-19 06:08:05 UTC

Worthy sacrifice. I will remember them.

2019-12-19 06:08:14 UTC

Never forget

2019-12-19 06:08:37 UTC

Al queda is in talks with us constantly rn

2019-12-19 06:08:41 UTC

As of July 7, 2018, there have been 2,372 U.S. military deaths in the War in Afghanistan.

2019-12-19 06:08:54 UTC

Again worthy sacrifices

2019-12-19 06:09:01 UTC

Count the deaths from al queda

2019-12-19 06:09:08 UTC

To be fair, it's worth reading up on the terrorism of the Islamic caliphate and the consequences wrought upon innocent nations. It's relatively easy to critique the US government on it's involvement in Afghanistan, but more noble to recognize the humanitarian causes advanced by our actions.

2019-12-19 06:09:34 UTC

Its not worthy if it cause more radicalization

2019-12-19 06:09:39 UTC

It wont
