I don't get how someone can be rude to a representative of a company, especially someone on a flight. If its the flight attendant, you're on the flight with them for a few hours
The customer isn't always right. The customer is quite frequently a fucking arsehole
and on a plane the captain is essentially judge, jury, executioner, and king. he is empowered to remove anyone from the aircraft for any reason. and, at least here in the US, any fuckery you pull on a plane is a federal charge
