end of the year is when major changes happen

2020-01-20 19:18:45 UTC

yeah, london, who cares

2020-01-20 19:18:56 UTC

it may delay PeP getting to work

2020-01-20 19:18:58 UTC

that's about it

2020-01-20 19:19:08 UTC

"WE JUST LEFT THE EU WE HAVE BECOME FASCISMUSS"

2020-01-20 19:29:13 UTC

actually there were delays recently.. only because they were taking out some "no deal" barriers on the roads... i didnt really understand why you would put artifical barriers to "speed up" traffic in the first place

2020-01-20 19:29:19 UTC

ten thousand articles sitting in drafts waiting to be released on the 31st to cry senselessly about someone's personal emotional attachment to a political union

2020-01-20 19:31:39 UTC

is it me... or is it weird that labour are trying to put a tory in as a peer?

2020-01-20 19:32:11 UTC

not weird when you consider he's a red tory

2020-01-20 19:32:38 UTC

what makes a red tory?

2020-01-20 19:32:52 UTC

someone who isn't conservative who resides inside the conservative party

2020-01-20 19:33:42 UTC

I think hes certainly a remainer... as most tories were... I dunno what else he lines up on the labour side

2020-01-20 19:35:31 UTC

social policy

2020-01-20 19:35:43 UTC

he's married to a labour mp

2020-01-20 19:35:46 UTC

(former? sp)

2020-01-20 19:35:57 UTC

@wacka it just goes to show how poor bercow was that a party who HATE TORY SCUM RAAAAARRRR would put one forward for peerage

2020-01-20 19:36:19 UTC

they saw him as their ally

2020-01-20 19:36:53 UTC

i think its tremendously poor taste to put him up for honours. is that it then - hes getting them, or is there some kind of approval?

2020-01-20 19:37:06 UTC

I think it's just Corbyn's Boris Delusional Syndrome showing

2020-01-20 19:37:22 UTC

Boris is for Brexit, well I'm against it

2020-01-20 19:37:43 UTC

Boris is for cutting taxes on the low paid, well I'm against it

2020-01-20 19:37:57 UTC

Boris is against a lordship for Bercow, well I'm for it

2020-01-20 19:42:33 UTC

That was his entire party

2020-01-20 19:48:49 UTC

ye

2020-01-20 20:00:07 UTC

honestly if bercow gets a peerage that strengthens the case against having the house of lords

2020-01-20 20:00:54 UTC

and also puts labour in a weird position because obviously they'd want to denounce yeeting it to block bercow being a peer but then that'd go against their whole ranting against that house being a thing

2020-01-20 20:01:19 UTC

Get rid of the fake lords

2020-01-20 20:01:27 UTC

Dame Lawrence et al

2020-01-20 20:01:50 UTC

Lord achmed of Rotherham who was implicated in child abuse, is peak new labour

2020-01-20 20:03:24 UTC

The House of Lords is a major problem

2020-01-20 20:03:43 UTC

Electing it would make it worse but allowing it to continue how it is still pretty bad

2020-01-20 20:04:03 UTC

the house of regions and nations is a better idea since it keeps london out of it

2020-01-20 20:04:40 UTC

It should be cut down to a small number of hereditary Lords with advisory powers only

2020-01-20 20:04:57 UTC

Each lord and his line can be ousted by vote

2020-01-20 20:05:04 UTC

And replaced by vote

2020-01-20 20:05:07 UTC

Why don't we just give the biggest industries of the UK the seats? As a major part of the British Economy i think they should be entitled to a say in policy

2020-01-20 20:05:25 UTC

no

2020-01-20 20:05:26 UTC

that

2020-01-20 20:05:32 UTC

that's an awful idea

2020-01-20 20:05:37 UTC

Why?
