@Jes what's your wife's halfling look like
2'11'' Blonde spikey hair, blue eyes, Mithral chain shirt, dual Elven leafblades (curved daggers) and a slightly psychotic look. "Can we stabby stabby now, yeah, huh, yeah?" Actual quote lol
Don't speak to me or my wife's halfling ever again

@Xaverius to be fair, i run the game so get to snicker. the other players are a bit hesitant though lol
@Jes my elf wears an elven chain shirt which is made of mithral. Difference is I have a rune on it that lets me disguise it as any clothing I want
Kek.
I went to Arlington Cemetery, took some pictures, this one I like the best
Bet there is at least a few Kenshi fans here.

On a bit of a roll tonight. This one isnt finished. Thinking of a couple foreground trees. Suggestions?
foreground would have berry bushes
The mountain is centered here, so anything you add shouldn't obscure it.
It looks like a road
which is why I was perplexed by a request for foreground
Maybe just make the road gravel, or show treadmarks from farming/forestry equipment
I used to go to a real middle of nowhere lakeside log cabin place
And believe me, the roads are neither gravel nor treaded
This need not be in the middle of nowhere, though.

@RhinoMaxTV it's looking really good, dude; especially the blending of the foliage and shadows.
@RhinoMaxTV I feel like I know exactly which piece you're referring to, but could you repost it alongside your reference and then just ping me so I could take a look?
If it's the piece I'm thinking of, then right off the bat, I feel like your colors are too muddy for that particular art style.
Impressionism and the related styles are all known for their vibrant, harmonious colors. Some of the best ever in that regard, actually; and as it happens, I've studied their system of color selection.
Thats the reference. Im way off on it right now. But every failure is a lesson. These guys are called masters for a reason. Ha.
