Another shit weeb non-game
At least free is roughly what it's worth <:smugon:512048583806025739>
the fat ass female rangers is where it's at
everything else is shit in that game
also the jugs on those she-beasts
holy oof
Yeah, well, freedom units are better anyhow!
And now a portion of people are going to exploit that for free games, probably- could be that I’m just cynical
GOG is already DRM free
if you wanted to exploit them for free games you could just get some friends
>gog users
>friends
its a genius tactic tbh
GOG also has the best launcher
(no launcher required <:smugon:512048583806025739> )
GOG already knows their games are on torrents anyway, the issue is with people buying and refunding games and additional costs added to transactions.
of course shitty devs will try to steer away from such store
even though epic store has same refund policy as steam it is developer first, which is why so many run for those checks
so there's now gog as consumer first, steam as a middle ground and epic as dev first
Gog is epic
Steam is lukewarm
Epic is shit
Naming conventions, amirite?
Well the obvious the course of action now is to create games that you can’t beat within 30 days
they already exist under umbrella of "open world" where devs put heavy grinding to get further
e.g. Shadow of War have its last chapter essentially behind a grind wall and the ending is pretty meh
MGSV without mods and online enabled is grindfest to get anything useful
you get about 10 times your offline GMP when connecting to server
challenges which give a lot of free stuff are also only in online mode which makes no sense as they depend on static game data, like mission rank and so on
@Randall_Clark It's funny how scummy some publishers are about it. When the 2-hour refund window was a new feature, Mafia III came out. Guess what, majority of the scripted story missions happen at the start and only after those two hours are safely behind you, it switches into open world grind
Some games can only take 4-6 hours to beat too
