They won't likely go for a max sentence. There are sentencing guidelines that judges use, with various factors considered mitigating or aggravating. Receiving the max sentence is extremely rare, and would be unwise for zog to create a martyr with such an obvious overreach. The point of prosecuting Cantwell is just to harass him, to keep him busy. They would likely go for some sort of gag order, and try to get him on long-term probation so they could legally fuck with him for years.
