never ever underestimate fwd

2018-06-17 06:55:01 UTC

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-PLpLhfJmA same cost same layout stock cars, the VW is simply faster

2018-06-17 06:56:11 UTC

and this is with the golf R having a 20 horsepower handicap for the south african version

FWD is for CUCKS

It's WRONG on basic levels

fundamentally wrong

no amount of trickery (and there's loads of it) is going to fix the base problem

Sometimes the Classical Liberals win. Sometimes it's a Prowler, sometimes it's a <:covfefe:440543908846632980>

@Broo TulsiGang 2024 πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Dead on about FWD. The only acceptable layouts are FR, any layout AWD, MR, RR

2018-06-18 04:44:41 UTC

Unless you live in a snowy area and cant get AWD.

2018-06-18 04:45:05 UTC

In which case rwd is a downright stupid choice, performance advantage or no.

My sister has a a 1.3 Yaris that's good in the snow. It's so light it goes over the snow not through it. SO FWD has it's uses

2018-06-18 09:05:46 UTC

Are there cars that do RR?

engine in the WRONG place since the 50's

Original Fiat 500

You could argue Teslas are RR but nahhhhh

2018-06-18 09:50:12 UTC

Teslas are, if anything, MA

I like the AMG that has a motor in each wheel

THAT's interesting

2018-06-18 09:59:07 UTC

...Teslas do that too?

2018-06-18 09:59:45 UTC

I mean, when it comes to cool engine setups, Porsche 918.

nah it's too catch all and ends up too heavy

Tesla Roadster 2.0 will be interesting

I used to race R/C cars so electric cars are kinda interesting

2018-06-18 12:45:06 UTC

Interesting yes.

2018-06-18 12:45:34 UTC

But unless its a loss leader sold alongside hybrids or gassers, they are useless from a business perspective.

2018-06-18 12:46:02 UTC

Inb4 "Tesla is a super successful company"

2018-06-18 12:46:37 UTC

They lost $1.5 billion this year, even more than last year, and they have never had a profitable year.
