You like some weird American cars...

2018-07-06 04:26:12 UTC

I'm surprised he didn't mention the last V8 sedans in the police force, the Dodge Chargers.

2018-07-06 04:26:31 UTC

Gotta love that the first interceptors were flatheads though.

"silly-suspension crowd" :LUL:

2018-07-06 09:27:13 UTC

I think hydraulics are cool and I'd love a car with a good hydraulic setup

2018-07-06 09:52:42 UTC

:(

Suspension is for going fast. It's not for bouncing around like you are Dr. DRE and Snoop Dogg

2018-07-06 09:55:33 UTC

again it comes back to my view of cars being fun, speed isn't the only way of making a car an object of fun

2018-07-06 09:57:12 UTC

big sound systems, dumb exhausts, lighting that makes gaming pcs blush, stupid suspensions, it's all entertainment

I'm more of a Add Lightness kinda guy.

2018-07-06 10:01:38 UTC

that's fine for speed but it usually means sacrificing comfort

2018-07-06 10:02:15 UTC

the vast majority of vehicles on the road see more miles when comfort is important than where speed is

nope outright pace over all

all show and no go is disgusting ;D

2018-07-06 15:11:45 UTC

depends on the car, not all cars are designed for speed as a priority

2018-07-06 15:11:52 UTC

look at the gt86

2018-07-06 15:12:12 UTC

it's slower than a lot of hatchbacks, that doesn't mean it's worse than them though

2018-07-06 15:12:34 UTC

same with the mx5

2018-07-06 15:12:52 UTC

they're great cars, but there are much faster and imo less desirable alternatives

Refutes Add Lightness

Cites gt86 and Mx5

WELL WELL WELL

2018-07-06 15:15:49 UTC

is the 370z a bad car then?

2018-07-06 15:16:55 UTC

the GT86 is categorically worse than my $5k cheaper Focus ST

2018-07-06 15:17:06 UTC

I would rather have the GT86

2018-07-06 15:17:24 UTC

yeah but some of us have more sense than money

2018-07-06 15:17:54 UTC

250hp/275tq, turbo, 4 doors, same weight, and $5k cheaper

2018-07-06 15:18:36 UTC

the difference between me and you is that I actually cross-shopped them

2018-07-06 15:18:46 UTC

i'm not just saying this as an armchair argument

2018-07-06 15:18:57 UTC

ah and the transmission is way better too

2018-07-06 15:20:05 UTC

I will admit I haven't driven the current ST, but I have driven the RS

2018-07-06 15:20:30 UTC

my preference for the GT86 comes down to road feel though, and my own personal affection for rwd

2018-07-06 15:21:43 UTC

I have a lot of complaints with the gt86, mainly the lack of a factory turbo option and that toyota didn't really have much to do with it despite it wearing a toyota badge and looking imo better than the brz

2018-07-06 15:22:01 UTC

though that is aesthetic

2018-07-06 15:22:02 UTC

I like RWD more for sure, but that's not enough to justify the price, lower power, and overall lower value of the GT86

2018-07-06 15:22:24 UTC

the RS is a good car, but no way in fuck i'm paying 40k for a focus

2018-07-06 15:22:35 UTC

I paid $21,600 for my ST brand new

2018-07-06 15:23:17 UTC

by preference for certain vehicles over others usually comes down to how they feel and for the driving experience I like the GT86, I wouldn't buy one though
