I don't know how to describe the busy work that open world games have other than things on the map to check off.

I quite enjoy taking on the enemy outposts in Far Cry games, bad guys have little bases all over the map, are you a bad enough dude to take them down.

It's a lot of fun being the sneaky bow using badass throwing knives into people, slipping around gaurds.
